Analysis: Davies was not on the field once again for Canada, as the defender was preserved yet another match following a hamstring injury. This is likely due to them already qualifying for the knockouts, as Canada is likely to save him until the knockouts to make sure their star player remains fit. That said, the left-back could very well return for the start of Canada's knockout campaign and potentially start immediately, likely a needed source of production if they want to continue in the tournament.

Analysis: Davies has yet to log a single minute for Canada in the current World Cup, but he could make his debut in this group-stage finale. Expect the Bayern Munich left-back to see minutes if he's absolutely needed Wednesday.
